Did you know that choosing the right paint color is only half the battle? The finish you choose can make a big difference in how a room looks, how well the paint holds up, and how easy your walls are to clean. Flat & Matte: A Smooth, Blurred Look–Flat and matte finishes offer little to no shine, creating a soft, elegant appearance. They’re great for ceilings and areas where you want to minimize the appearance of small wall imperfections. Keep in mind that traditional flat finishes can be more difficult to clean, so they may not be the best choice for busy hallways or rooms that see a lot of activity. (click to continue reading…)

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “B&K just finished our house exterior paint job and our house looks brand new. We have a large house and it only took them 2-1/2 days for everything. Great attention to detail – caulking, filling small holes, scraping old paint etc. Their bid to do the job was about 20% LESS than what I was expecting.” -Matt B.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “I met B&K at my in-law’s house while they were painting the exterior. I was impressed with their respect shown and attention to detail. They performed a quality exterior paint job and fair priced. I decided to hire them for work at my house. I have been a commercial superintendent for over 25 years. These guys are class A contractors. John and his team are courteous and professional. They gave me a repeat performance at my own house. Incredibly pleased with the work product and will be having them back out for the next project. Shout out to Steve and Justin (the onsite crew) – Thank you.” -WB

When choosing a painting contractor, it’s important to look for a combination of experience, reputation, and professionalism. Start by checking the contractor’s credentials, including licensing, insurance, and any relevant certifications. A reliable contractor should have a proven track record with positive customer reviews or references from previous projects. It’s also important to ensure they are knowledgeable about the specific painting techniques and materials suitable for your home’s needs. Pay attention to their communication style—an experienced contractor should be responsive, approachable, and willing to answer all your questions. Lastly, ensure they offer a warranty on their work, which provides peace of mind in case any issues arise after the job is completed.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “So impressed! Not only did they do a great job on painting my home, I was so impressed with their communication and professionalism. From the quoting experience with John, the daily updates from Steve (start/end of day), to Lyshelle’s daily communication throughout the process kept me informed on the project. And the team was so pleasant, considerate and polite too. All this and at a great price you can’t go wrong. I will definitely use them again on future projects and I highly recommend them!! -Jason H.
