Choosing the right paint color for your interior can transform the look and feel of a room, but it requires careful consideration. Start by thinking about the mood you want to create—cool tones like blues and greens can create a calming atmosphere, while warm hues such as yellows and reds evoke energy and warmth. Consider the room’s natural light, as it can affect how colors appear throughout the day; lighter shades often make small or dark spaces feel larger and brighter, while deeper tones can add coziness. Take into account the existing furniture, fixtures, and finishes, ensuring the color complements these elements for a cohesive look. Test paint samples on the walls in different lighting conditions before committing to a color, as it can look different under artificial light versus natural light. Finally, think about how the color flows with adjacent rooms, particularly in open-concept spaces, to ensure a harmonious overall aesthetic.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “These guys were so great! We hired them to repaint the inside of our store and everything went better than expected. They were clean, kind, punctual, as well as quick and thorough. We will definitely be hiring them again when the day comes to repaint again! Thank you!!” -Kelsey D.

As you may know, B&K Painting excels in both residential and commercial repaints. But did you know that we’ve also completed numerous apartment and townhome complexes throughout the Treasure Valley? We love these projects because the transformation is generally significant, allowing us to witness dramatic improvements. Additionally, we get to meet many amazing residents along the way. Check out our recent repaint at Heron Cove here in Boise.

Transformation Tuesday!!!! Check out this townhome our crew recently completed! We used the color Rare Gray SW 6199 for the body, Casa Blanca SW 7571 for the trim, Country Cotton OW204-1 for the fascia, and Pewter Green SW 6208 for a subtle pop on the front door. What do you think of this color combo???
