Steady hands are a must have. I also hold my breath when making the cut. Kind of like when you’re shooting a gun. I’m a painter from Ohio. I just spent quite a while cutting some very intricate molding at a place. I had to use just the very tip of the first two bristles to get into those tight curves. It turned out beautiful, but you have to have great patience. Also! I normally feather my Wizzy lines so I’m sure not to have a snail run going from side to side. I do this by slightly lifting up on the downward end of my Wizzy roller. It helps when you don’t have a Cover Man with his roller readily available. You can come back any time and roll into your feathered cuts. I also don’t use my brush for corners at all (except at the top and bottom), I just smash the end of my mini-roller (Wizzy) into the corner from one side, make my stroke about 2 ft., flip it to the wall next to where I just painted and I end up with a nice 4” textured ‘feathered-cut’ coming out from the corner, and this way there are no brush lines. It looks great when even the corners are textured.
